Artist Statement

My art reflects the lines, textures, color and forms found in nature; realistic to impressionistic – light glowing through water spray, variation of line in tree branches, the feel of rough rocks, a setting sun, and even man made objects encroaching on the environment.

I challenge myself to capture nature in an instant in time, transporting the viewer to a place they have never been, or a place that they remember from their past –
